My wife uses Outlook 2003 on one PC, Outlook 2007 on another, and Outlook 2010 on a third machine (no questions please :)) to read her Cox.net email. The issue is, she deletes messages on one PC, but they still show up in the other two Outlook instances. I thought there was a way to tell Outlook to remove messages from the server so the would be eliminated from view on any Outlook instance, but I cannot remember or find that information. Thoughts, anyone?

If you do not use IMAP then you will need to leave messages on the server, else only one Outlook will get the current messages.

    see this:
    COX IMAP

    Note:
BEFORE switching to IMAP, make copies of ALL Outlook.pst files on each computer.

I'm bumping a slightly-old thread here, but if you switch to IMAP, you'll have to purge deleted items before they actually get removed from Outlook and your server.

This is all new to me of late, but the beauty of it all is that anything purged within Outlook gets removed online as well. In addition, any folders created in Outlook will get recreated online as well. At least that's been my experience.
