HP Probook S biometric sign on stopped working. Password forgotten. Anyone know anything about this type of sign on?

    Isn't it a fingerprint reader?

    Have you been using it?

Never mind. It turned out that malware got into the system. I was able to get into safe mode after a number of tries and run MalwareBytes. Biometric sign on working again.
