I have a SanDisk USB 32GB usb flash drive. Today its performance has been wild. Sometime the drive letter doesn't show up; sometime I can't delete a file even the drive is showing. I restart the desktop a few times, and it has no change.

The drive has a management software "RunSanDiskSecureAccess_Win.exe" with it.

I found that it is FAT32 type thus I think that maybe I need to format it. So I did something using "diskpart" command in Win 7. See the image attached.

Then I checked the event log files. There are two errors.
    Error one:
    Code:
    Log Name: Application
    Source: Application Error

    File:

The error value is listed in the Additional Data section.
    User Action
    1. Open the file again. This situation might be a temporary problem that corrects itself when the program runs again.
    2. If the file still cannot be accessed and
    	- It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted.
    	- It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer.
    3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.
    4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.
    5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.

Have you tried going into my computer then right clicking on the drive and select "format" from the context menu?

    More details....
It happened when I plugged a Sony Camcorder and a Sony software was running. By some articles online, the Sony software is conflicting with SanDisk. So I made a system restore, now it can show up in Windows explorer. But it is still not working properly.

Ex: right click the folder the delete command doesn't show.
    clear readonly attribute failed.

    See the image please.

I read all threads. They all have the common solution--- "RETURN IT! ".

I was thinking the same thing. Sandisk must've gotten hold of a bad batch of drives.
