I am running Win7 with Incredimail 2. installed.

I chose to update to 2.5 and lost all my folders etc.

I thought re-installing Incredimail 2. would refresh them but it hasn't.

I lost all my emails, folders and addresses but they must be on the computer somewhere.

I have tried System Restore..but it didn't restore.

    Any help..appreciated.

    Thanks amillion

    Hi roy!

I'm an IncrediMail user & I know how utterly frustrating it is to lose all the email data, as it happened to me, too. Since you tried System Restore & it didn't work, would you consider trying it again but going back to a different date? I've done that several times with IM & other programs as well & the second or third attempt worked...I don't understand technical stuff, but I never give up! I'd try it again just to make sure.

The other options are to use the "VIP Support" option that you can access when you open IM, (available for paid memberships). They are VERY slow to respond, however.

There are also Support Forums to try. You can go to:

    http://forums.incredimail.com/

As with any forum you have to register before you can post. There are also tutorials there & you can always read prior threads without registering.

I'm sorry I don't know any more, but I hope the other ideas help.

    Good Luck!!

    Best Regards,
    Nuts4Mutts :)

Thanks for your considerations, much appreciated.
    All assistance welcome.
Whilst files and folders have disappeared they must still be on my HD even if invisible.
Me thinks it is just a matter of finding the software that will do the required S&R.
I have been provided this option... http://help.incredimail.com/incredimail/help_center/help_article.aspx?is=t&article_id=260 which I will give a try.
    Thanks again.
have a long and happy life.

Backup, backup, backup. Three famous words. I backup my Favorites and e-mail address every couple of months. It there is an update for say IE, before I do it, I back up my Favorites then let it update. Any program that is installed on my PC that has personal stuff stored in like favorites and address book, gets backed up at least once every 6 to 8 weeks on a thumb drive. Takes just a couple of minutes to do and saves hours or frustration and hair pulling and cussing. :D
