I have been imaging my Win 7 SSD main drive C: using Laplink Diskimage but have never tried to recover an image so i cannot be sure it would work I have been looking for an easy foolproof program that would image an SSD main C: drive an recover with no problems, I used to use Norton Ghost 2003 with my old XP computer and it was easy to understand and worked without fail the few times I had to use it but i understand it is not compatable with WIN7 64bit and an SSD drive.

    regards

Here is some information I posted to one of Arie's News threads a month or so ago:
As far as imaging programs, I tried to use Acronis for a couple of years but it had more stuff than I could digest so I switched to Macrium Reflect three or four months ago. It seems to be much easier to use and understand. I haven't had to use the recovery feature yet so I am keeping my fingers crossed on that. I used a Maxtor "One Touch" on my wife's computer and had to use the recovery on it on two occasions and it worked very well.
