I'm finding that after just a few minutes of browsing using IE5.5, webpage graphics are either taking forever to download or not downloading at all. I get text, but no graphics. Doesn't matter if it's a page I have previously visited during my current browsing session or not.

If I clear the cache (either via Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files or via Norton Utilities' Fast and Safe Cleanup), then the problem goes away for a few page loads, then it starts up again.

Any ideas what's going on here?

    TIA

Increase the space allocated for TIF.

Looks like you have Norton installed. What about Nortons Firewall?
If so try shutting it off and see what happens.

If this works and you have the CD, a re-install might help.

No, no Norton Firewall. Just NAV 2003 and I didn't install that recently.

i had the same problem and it cud be this:

if you have zone alarm , open it up, click program control and make sure all internet explorer ticks are ticked and none are as '?' or 'X'.

Could be the littlest of problems causing it, something like this.
