    I need Help
On 11 28 13 I did a fresh install of XP mode on my windows 7 pro 64bit system.
I downloaded xp mode and virtual machine on the same day
I uninstall the previous version of XP mode with windows programs and features, and did a uninstall of the update to remove Virtual machine.
I then installed xpmode from my download and then installed the virtual machine update (kb958559) I use the windows 7 64 bit virtual machine update. ((Their was a different one for 32 bit which I did not use that one ))
Set everything up and everything went smoothly.
Now my problem is, I can not get updates to work cannot get passed it checking for the updates
I ran Microsoft Fixit it went ok and fixed a few problems, but did not fix these two problems

Service registration is missing or corrupt
    Windows update error 0x800d(2013-11-28-T-04_07_43P)

I ran fixit twice more still not getting them two items solved.

What should I now do?? Anain This is on XP Mode in windows 7 pro in
    Thanks for your help
    Johnny

Why on earth would you want to do that? It's not like there's a new version of XP mode.

I'd either try a repair install of Windows 7, or a fresh install (format & reinstall).
