Resolved How do I use Bart's PE?

Hi all,

Since my friends computer is munged, I remembered Bart's PE Builder.

Would one of you please give me a step-by-step way to use it? I've Googled it, but I'm more than ever.

I've used this with success in the XP environment. If you have a look at the page I've linked, scroll down and you will see that it can install a Mini XP OS which enables you to rebuild/recover to get your XP operating.

You'll need to burn a CD from the Download. Neil.

OK, after I burn the disk, I boot to it ... and then what? I can't find any documentation on how to use it or what to do to repair the XP installation?

p.s. I finally got Bart's burned, clicked "Go ", but I don't know which options to use to repair?

jpChris, I am not an expert but I found I could use it from the info provided within the CD/DVD you have burnt from the Downloaded ISO.

ps. I burned a Barts CD a few years ago and found it didn't work - so did the Hirens thing.
