Resolved Installing Adobe Air

One more thing to try:

Locate the air installer exe file. Create a shortcut to it. Rt click the shortcut and select Properties. In the Shortcut tab the path to the installer will be shown, add the switch -uninstall to it. Example.

C:\Docs & Settings\<username>\Desktop\AdobeAirInstaller.exe -uninstall

Double click the shortcut to run its uninstaller, when complete, try the installer.

If still fails, you can wait for someone else to respond here or wait until get the new computer, or try Remote IT Tech Support Services by the owner of this WindowsBBS forums.

 

I marked the thread as "unsolved" because there has not been a workable solution. Someone may be able to post a solution that works. Meanwhile, just check back periodically.
