Resolved Ms visual c ++ runtime library

    I keep getting a pop-up

    under the above heading:

    Runtime Error. C:\Program Files\ IEXPLORE.EXE

    I'm using Windows XP and IE 8

    Any ideas how to correct this [lease ?

    I seem to have solved this problem at last... a simple solution that I found on another forum:
    Go to RUN. type: inetcpl.cpl - then from Internet Options, select Advance...under Internet Explorer Settings...click "Reset" twice... then close.

    So far so good, plus - my pc shuts down and opens up a lot faster
