Launch8 adds a stationary dock to your Windows 8 Start screen

    StarDock's new Launch8 adds a stationary dock to your Windows 8 Start screen, similar to the stationary dock you see at the bottom of most smartphone screens. Drag and drop your favorite applications to your Launch8 dock and quickly launch them no matter where you have swiped to on your Start screen.

    Seems like a cool nifty tool but if you are using the desktop interface then I don't see this application as being all that useful unless you spend most of your time using Windows 8's Start Screen.

    Correct, it appears to be designed specifically for the Metro/Tiles/Start screen.
