Resolved What protection is needed with Windows 8.1

    I see Microsoft Security Essentials is not on W8. Currently I have Malwarbytes and CCleaner running.

    should I add Spybot?

    MSE is called Windows Defender in Win 8. Look at my signature and that is all that I run on all my PC's. Haven't had nothing in years that I could not get rid of in just a few minutes.

    MSE has been renamed Windows Defender in Windows 8 - a weekly scan with Malwarebytes should be sufficient, but a manual scan with Spybot would not be detrimental.
