RegCleaner4.3 recently turned up this software registered to my registry, and i'll be darned if i know what it is...

    Woi O/i

the Woi appears under the RegCleaner "Author" column, and the O/i is under the "Software" column.

right-clicking the entries and selecting "advanced info" only provides me with the registry key.

nothing shows up on a search of my hard drive, and that's with "show hidden files and folders" option selected.

just curious if anyone has any ideas what this item may be?

ps, all nav defs are current, full system scans run daily, spybot and ad-aware get run every other day or so, and i use zonealarm free firewall. operating system is win2000pro.

edit in: i think it may be affiliated with NAV Agent, plus there are a number of other reg entries that, if removed, will take Woi O/i along with them, like Dr. Hardware 2001 and a Yahoo entry. i'd still like to know what it is, but it seems to be associated with a few other processes.

    thanks

    :)

I have the same key in my registry as well. Don't know what it is for but found this info from a Google search "Woi registry ".

    Woi

Looks like something to do with imaging software.

    aha... kodak! :)

"Registry keys that may be used by other Kodak Applications "

very good find, JohnB... i think that answers my question quite well. i was not adding the word "registry" to my google searches.

i do have a kodak digi camera and thus, kodak imaging software. but nowhere did my investigations point to kodak.

    thanks for helping me out.

Yes I also have a Kodak digi camera and the software that came with it (Picture Transfer and Picture software). Undoubtably that's where the registry key comes from.:)
