Windows 8 Updates

    I just received 25 Updates last night and all before W8.1 comes out. Neil.

    Me too but didn't install anything except IE update as I would be switching over to Win 8.1 in next couple of weeks.

    And there is one for 8.1 too.

    Yeah, I got a bunch too, but not all were for Windows itself, but .NET Framework, Office components, IE and the new integrated Flash Player.

    8.1 does not replace every file. I would not hold off installing these updates just because 8.1 is coming soon - even if it did replace them all. Keeping our systems current is a major component of keeping our systems secure.
