[Bitlocker-To-Go problem after pausing encryption in progress]

Hi,

One of our staff used Bitlocker-to-go to encrypt her external harddrive connected via USB. It was a 2TB drive, so it took a long time to encrypt. She got tired of waiting and paused the encryption. The next day, she plugged in the drive intending to continue to encryption. So she presses the Resume button and the progress bar pops up, goes yellow and then just stays like that. No error messages, no cancel option - nothing.

Fortunately she can still read the drive. But I'm not sure how to continue with the encryption. Anybody have any ideas?

 

Oh, forgot to add that her internal drive is already bitlockered, and I've got the recovery PIN. Don't know if that helps.

 

Did you try the pin. I don't know if this will work: BitLocker do not continue after paused
