I tried to install the video driver and got a message saying 'This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software'.

On my netbook we just updated I.E. says intranet settings are turned off by default. Do I leave the settings that way? If not, how do I turn it on? Are there webites I won't be able to access without it turned on?

I used this utility on website and it came up with this. Should I use it? Do I need to clean up anything after the last driver didn't install?

Can you post a screenshot of the message so I can see it?

Yes go ahead and use that utility to download the appropriate video driver on your desktop system. Run ATF Cleaner after the new video driver has been installed to remove any extra temporary files.

I didn't get a screen shot of the error message, sorry.

I used the utility to download a driver and installed it without a problem.

Is there anything else I should do before installing I.E. 10?

I think I may know what the message is referring to. In IE10 on the laptop click Tools< Internet Options< Security Tab. Highlight the Local intranet security zone and click the button that says default level. Click on Ok to apply the changes and restart IE10.

Run the JRT program on the other machine before installing IE10 and reboot the computer.

This is what I get when I try to run JRT:

    JRT.jpg

With every process it tries to do, it has the same thing about the system cannot find the path specified.

Did JRT run all the way through and produce a logfile? In the screenshot it looks like its running normally.
