I want to make notes or draw diagrams when in the meetings.
Is there a free software to do it?

My OS: Windows 7 pro edition.

Windows One Note is cool... But, do you have a device that allows you to write on it?

You might want to look into buying a tablet input pad, or a graphics pad, which will allow you to write more accurately than a mouse...

I meant a graphics pad, which has a stylus you can use to control the cursor on your computer... 1 minute let me get a link! ;)

    EDIT: Here we go: http://m.rakuten.com/product/205857228

That way you can get really accurate handwriting... Shop around though, that's just an example!

Well that depends on what exactly your looking for... Different tablets for different needs... So for what purpose do you need a tablet? Handwriting?

For notes, pretty much ANY tablet would be good, but the surface does look even better for you as it comes with Office...
