Can't Figure out why outlook express will not send any emails. I keep getting the following error message.
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Dialup Inc e-mail', Server: 'mail.dialup.ws', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10051, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I still am receiving emails but none will send.
    Thanks for the help.

Mike - are you attempting to send mail via your ISP's server or via some other server (IOW are you connected to the internet via THISisp.com and attempting to send mail via THATisp.com)?

I'm not sure how it is sent. I can go directly to my ISP and then my messages can be sent but if I try by just sending from outlook express then it will not send. If you need other Info let me know and I'll try to get it if I know where it is.
    Thanks

Mike1Webster--Have you looked at OE's Tools|Accounts|highlight your mail account name|Properties|Servers tab and checked the Outgoing mail (SMTP) line entry? Any reason to believe that is not correct? Can you call your ISP and doublecheck what the correct entry should be in that box?

I contacted my ISP and everything looks okay. The STMP entries were what they said they should be.

Go back to the Servers tab again. Is there a check in the "My server requires authentication" box?
