Oops. I posted this with the title "sheila" and can't edit the title so I'm posting it again with a real title.
Yesterday I changed my Windows XP Pro accessibility options because I have poor vision. However, I find that the larger type and different contrast sets up more problems than it solves (can't see the right side of the screen, a change in the way the scrolling works, the "add to cart" symbol doesn't show up on Amazon, etc). I have been unable to turn these functions off. The accessibility options wizard won't change my settings back. I tried to do a system restore to the day before, and then to 4 days before, but the computer won't do it. I tried to get into "safe mode" and do a system restore, but I can't get into safe mode. (I'm a novice, but I've researched this for hours and tried to follow instructions on line. Apparently, this is a common-enough problem for XP users, though so far, nothing works from the suggestions I've tried. I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions/fixes you can offer. Thanks.

I was able to get back to default accessibility settings after doing a system restore in safe mode. It didn't clear up everything. I was left with a few quirks which I have mostly been able to solve.
