reset system to a previous date

    Is it possible to reset my computer to a prior date like in windows 7? I loaded some free aps that ******* my system up and I would like to reset it back to
    a prior day. Is this possible in Windows 8?

    I did not find this to be the case as for not "changing your settings" but hey all my stuff was still there.
