Printer Driver for Win 8

Does anyone know how to force a Brother PT-2300 label printer to function with windows 8? Brother stopped supporting the unit beyond windows 7. I would gladly give up some functions if it would somewhat work.

 

Did you look on Brothers Page? I did and it shows the following on the link.

Not saying that they will work or not. Did you try a Win 7 driver to see if it will work? If it doesn't, looks like you need a new printer.

Thanks, but I had already checked these sites. On the first one, Brother does not list anything for Windows 7, no less windows 8. One the solvusoft site they simply say that I have the most current driver. They don't say anything about the fact that it will not work anymore. I think your suggestion, and my realization some time ago, that I buy a new printer is my only option. I will list this one on ebay and opt to spend $100 for a new label maker.
