    Hello

I have many 3 1/2 floppy disks with pictures that I want to transfer to
    my computer.
Am using an USP external floppy drive to do the job.

Have the drive connected to my computer via USB.

The devise shows up on the devices and printer screen.

Insert a floppy into the drive, it grinds away and gives me
the error msg: I/O devise error.

It is a BYTECC Model BT-144

Any ideas on how to clean up this error?

    HP, W7 x64

    Thanks
    Casey

    Did not know that.
The floppys have had pictures on them for about 5 years so maybe that
    is the problem.
I will try some from other boxes.
    Thanks for the info
