    What are RAR files and what do i need to open them?:confused:

    RAR files are compressed files. To open these files you need to download a utility called 'Winrar' You can get it from here

    RAR files are compressed files using another compression algorithm than ZIP.

    Several Freeware/Shareware compression programs have built in RAR/unRAR support, examples are Powerarchiver (shareware) and UltimateZip (freeware).

    If you want more information and the "official" RAR compressor/decompressor then the Official RAR and WinRAR site is the place to go.
