Ipod Sync

    Is there any way that I can get Windows 8 to permanently recognise the driver in my Ipod? It would appear that some but not all as another Ipod syncs normally) drivers are not recognised by Windows 8 and are thus being blocked. The only way to sync my Ipod is to restart the computer and disable the Driver licence blocker.

    Of course, by the time that I want to do another sync, the computer has been restarted and I have to go through the whole procedure again.

    Is there any way to override this feature permanently?

    I have the latest iTunes on my wife's Windows 8 laptop and her iPod never has any issues. Try uninstalling iTunes completely and then install the latest version.

    It seems to affect only certain Ipods. The issue remains
