Image d/loads from Internet Explorer

When I am on Internet message boards and someone inserts an image using {img} {/img} the images never work. They come up as a red x. Until I right click, cut and paste the URL into the browser then go to the site the image is from, the image then loads up the message board. Does anyone know how to fix this so the image works straight into the message. Ive tried messing on with Internet Explorer Tools -> Options but have had no success.

Can any1 help?

(I used { and } because it wasnt showing with [ and ])

 

You've probably checked this, but is "Show Pictures" and "Enable auto image sizing" checked under Tools/ Internet Options/Advanced/ in the multi-media section ?

I had your problem a while back when both of them weren't checked.

 

Yeah, both are ticked. its really annoying.
