When I attempt to send mail using Outlook 2003, the mail just sits in the outbox. Receiving mail is not an issue. All mail is rec'd from Comcast. I reentered incoming and outgoing server information and still can't send.
This just started today. Any information would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Is the computer located in the same place and using internet connection provided by Comcast?

If not, you need to set the SMTP settings to match the current ISP.

The above link worked just fine. I guess you can't call it weird, Comcast can do as they please. For ages emailed worked using ports 110 and 25 respectively and then out of the blue just like that you can't send email. I also pulled out a laptop and configured it as I have in the past and same issue, you can receive, but not send.
    As always,
    Thank you
