boot problem

    Hi , I am having a problem with my Computer.When I switch on pc it starts booting for 2 seconds , then completely stops for 6 seconds, then boots again normally. When it stops for 6 seconds both cpu and case fans stop and front LED indicator stays off. Any ideas please?
    ASUS P5G41T-MLX2/GB MB
    Intel CPU dual core 2.93GHz
    DDR 2 memory 4GB
    Nvidia Gforce GT220, 1MB memory
    OS Windows 7 pro

    Hi carlos4. Does this issue happen just at bootup or when you actually start using the machine? Does it happen when you boot into Safe Mode?

    Are you overclocking any comoponents?

    Have you gone into your computers BIOS to see if it freezes there?

    Did this problem start happening out of the blue or has it been going on for a long time?
