I think auto select has improved in recent years that most users can rely on it. The problem comes in crowded wifi environments as found in or near large apartment complexes where many wifi networks may exist (and interfere with each other). Then you may need to manually find the best channel.

At any rate, I am glad you got it sorted out and thanks for the update.

Your welcome Bill, but believe me the sight of it connecting and staying connected was a sight to remember.

Near the top of your thread you'll see Thread Tools. Click the down arrow to expand the drop down menu, at the bottom of it you'll see Mark this thread as solved. Click on it to mark your thread as solved.

If later you find that the problem has returned, and you had previously marked your thread as solved, follow the steps above. Instead 'Mark this thread as solved' you will see that in this case Mark this thread as unsolved is listed.

Please read the User Guide for more information.

Hi Tony, maybe you as Staff can, but I can't, since I did not open the Thread.

I think that some of us had good intentions but got off track with others posting as the OP who posted on 18th February 2013 hasn't come back since.
