    Hello,
I usually use another "Administrator" account on my everyday login however, when I want to do something to the system that requires the Operating system "Administrator" account during the whole procedure of what I'm doing, I use the "Administrator Login ". Now what I noticed is that when I look at the "Users" account, I see 4 different Administrator accounts like (1) Administrator, (2) Administrator.PC, (3) Administrator.PC.000, (4) TEMP.PC, and (5) TEMP.PC.000 all containing the same date and time. Also during the login, I noticed that I get the splash screen stating "Configuring your desktop" every time.
Now I followed the SSD HDD (hard drive), setup to the letter before installing the Operating System, the difference that I have is that I set up all of my software installations to another drive to save space on the SSD HDD which is a terabyte HDD. As you can see that I have a OK size SSD HDD and not too worried with some of the default c:\ whatever, whatever software installations but its the different accounts that's created every time I boot into the Administrator account. Please advise...

You will have to tell me if I am wrong.

You added an extra drive after Windows installation.

If you haven't gone too far (sooner the better). I would reformat and reinstall Windows with all the drives connected.

    Hello Mattman,

No I didn't have any new drives from the original installation, I believe that this is a software issue because it's been running for a while before this started happening. I tried to go back to an earlier restore point and thought that would give me an idea as to start looking... as far back as three months ago and no change thinking that it was something that I installed. This system has been up for about a year and a half with the same peripherals...

however, I'm thinking about doing a reformat and reinstall windows... hmm...

The bad out weighted the good... I did reformat and reinstall windows... however I didn't add the external HDD's until I had all of the patches and upgrades... I'm up and running and pretty stable... all 137 updates...
    Thank you for your response!

So far so good Mattman... I have all of my installs going to the terabyte HDD and the boot is just like I like it, quick and fast. However, this setup did lower my "Window Index Experience" from a 7.8 to a 6.0... but I can live with that!!!!

    Thanks for being concerned!
