I'm a big movie and tv buff and want to d/l movies and tv shows to my hard drive and then burn them to dvd. My problem is that I cannot find a d/l service that isn't loaded with ads and junk. If anyone knows of a good dependable d/l service ,please let me know. I have tried extabit, rapidgator, hotfile, etc and all of them seem to be very troublesome. All I want to do is simply d/l a tv show or movie complete without interruptions. If I must pay for a service, then I would like to have a reasonably priced and dependable one that will work with DAP 10, which is a utility that really works and is very fast as it will d/l from 5 servers at the same time (I GUESS THIS IS A BIT TORRENT TOOL). Otherwise I am stuck with having to continously register with different sites such as Movie Lush, etc. Every one of them offers a free d/l but in order to use it requires providing a credit card or payment option that automatically kicks in after a few days, and getting rid of them is a nightmare. Surely there has to be a better and more secure way to do this. If you can help, I would be most appreciative for your counsel and advice.....thanks, rocknroller

As no one has come by to reply to your post rocknroller. I have googled around for you which most likely you have done extensively yourself. However we don't have your location or system specs which can make it more difficult as I came across sites for certain countries during my research. Can you add both in your profile as Admin suggests registered members do?

Download Accelerator Plus DAP10 Does this link help at all?

Internet Download Manager free tiral. At least you can try this one for free.

    kind regards,

Dear tallin, I will update as you suggest. Anyway, I have DAP 10 (free version) and it works great and will try internet D/L manager. Thanks so much for your prompt reply.....rocknroller

PS: One site you might try is 1channel.com which is what I am now using and it seems to be better than the others

Thank you for updating us, hope all is fine with your system. I have opened Ichannel.com as you suggested. Looks interesting.

Keep us posted how you get on with the free trial.

    kind regards,

PS. One look and I decided to delete Ichannel.com - It is a take and dangerous site I think.

Which probably get you the usual Malware. See http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/landings.trafficz.com

Stealing is stealing, there's no way around it. Distributing copyrighted material without compensation to the copyright holder is illegal. There's nothing legal in downloading it either.

Dear Admin, Just to be sure that I am clear on this issue, I have never sold, transferred or copied any material for other than my personal use.....i.e. recording a show or movie when I am not home and do not have any other way to save it for later or I missed a show and was able to locate it later, again for my personal use only. Certainly, anyone who purposely profits from someone else's material is stealing...I reference what I am doing as the same as advertised by AT&T, Comcast, etc....all of whom advertise their PVR units for the same reason....why are they allowed to do what I do with the exception that theirs is profit driven? I want to apologize to you and the members if I have done something wrong......thanks, rocknroller

A PVR (personal video recorder) is personal, while making these recordings available for download by any & all is a copyright infringement.

    FYI:
In the USA, it is not illegal to copy DVDs to a computer.
It is illegal to circumvent the DVD copy protection though.
Most free movies online were ripped from copy protected DVDs.
