    Anyone else tried this for W7/8?

    It's rather nice having all your settings in one place!

    Make a new folder, leave it named as new folder, rename folder to :- copy and paste:-

    God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

    Reboot!

    Yeh! Better name for sure, very handy though and I wish I'd found it earlier!

    Any other Windows goodies you want to share?

    Just been to a friends to sort his PC out, antivirus had ran out and loads of 'you know what on it'!
    A complete donkey of a machine too! An old HP pentium dual core E2140 1.6Ghz machine with bl**dy vista on it!

    Got to take a shower now after messing with vista, I feel dirty! LOL.

    Don't use these & don't find them particularly useful.

    If I need any specific control panel item, I just type what I'm looking for in the Start menu search box.

    I used to like 'CNET' but IMHO the download manager is now a conduit for malware etc...

    I downloaded one prog and got a backdoor fraudster with it, so give them a miss please and really there should be a discussion on this site about them!

    Ha! hijacked my own thread! Don't you just love when that happens and you go orrrff piste.

    Thanks bud for the confirmation that I'm not too paranoid or crazy and it's not just me.

    How many are using this site and don't know? WOT, Avast web rep etc shows this site is trustworthy and it clearly isn't!
