I should mention that I needed to install the Active-X version of the Flash player using Internet Explorer AND I ALSO NEEDED to separately download and install the Plugin version of the Flash player for Mozilla/Netscape.
You can also download the updated Macromedia Flash Player from this page, if your browser isn't detected automatically (from a post by tranquilo on the Netscape forum)

    You're welcome Lon

Here is a page that will test your version of the Macromedia players, both Shockwave and Flash.

    http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome/

You can use it to check for successful installation or to see what version is currently installed.

... In the Macromedia Flash Player box, hold the mouse pointer over "About" and it will tell you the currently installed version. The updated version is 6.0.65.0.

Like I said before, you will have to test your player in each browser because installing the new player in Internet Explorer, for example, will NOT install the new version in Netscape/Mozilla.
