Resolved memory upgrade ?

    Aloha,

    I have a Lenovo G570 laptop running Win 7 home 64 bit with 8gb DDR3 RAM. would it be worth it to run 16gb RAM instead of 8? would it increase performance?

    You should keep an eye on Task Manager->Performance Tab and see if you're maxing out the current 8gigs.

    I use 8 gigs on my office machine and usually have several large apps running. I very seldom use for then 5 gigs.

    Thanks for the reply. Wanted to make sure it would be worth the money.....which is kinda tight at the moment. Doubt if I'm using all 8gb.
    I don't play games or anything. Just email and general surfing.
