Win 8 Media Center

Does anybody by any chance have an extra Key Code for Media Center. I installed it with my updated Win XP to Win 8. Win 8 was fine for 4 or 5 days. Then I did the Media Center and then the next day it crashed. I got the 8 back up and running, but need a Key Code for Media Center. PM me if you have one. I know some people on other boards claim that they have 2 or 3, but I am not a member there or do I have a desire to be one.

I did mine on 2/1. Got the code before 1/31. Sure would like to try.

 

I do remember reading that you had to actually activate the key before the end of january so its a good assumption that unused keys will be defunct.

 

Read my post before yours. Probably had a little grace period. Sure would still like to try.

 

Will microsoft actually be charging for Media Center Keys now then or are they actually unavailable?
You`d be lucky to Activate one now -its over two weeks since the cutoff date and keys that have been activated will be tied to the Operating system they were activated with.

Did you actually HAVE a key? -You said "Then I did the Media Center and then the next day it crashed." - won`t that still work?

 

If I had one, I would try to use it. Worse that would happen like you say, is that they want to charge you for it. Could always back out.
