Why do I keep getting an alert telling me my Adobe Flash Player is out of date when in fact I have the latest version loaded?

What exactly is it that's sending you the alert that your Flash Player is out of date? Is it Secunia's OSI by any chance? I occasionally have the same thing happen.

Here's what works for me: Go to C:\ > Windows > System 32 > Macromedia > Flash. Delete everything in that Flash folder that's not dated the day you installed the latest version. It's all that old stuff that causes the alert.

Let us know how that worked for you.

Another way you can find Flash Player installed on your system is to go to this link, let it load, then scroll down to find your version and or the latest for your Operating System if in fact you have an earlier version.

    kind regards,
