Trying to install AOL9.7, get message that HD has not enough free space.
    Hard Drives = 2.
    Drive C: OS Capacity 61.8. used 28.5.free 33.2.
    Drive D: Recovery Capacity 9.99. used 3.28. free 6.71

    Total programmes 1.64 gb
    Vista Home Basic
    Dell inspiron Laptop 1520.

Where can I find some GB's to create space on C:?
Should I be looking at installing a less uptodate ISP.

I would say that the problem is with the AOL software. I looked up that version and it requires 250MB of hard drive space (or 25% of 1GB).
    Supports Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8; Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 or 10.0.

Reply to Steve R Jones, Thanks for calling my attention to this, it has not been forgotton or resolved, this is the time of year at our Centre for AGM's and all sorts of daft meetings, and the locol Authority has agreed to instal Office 10. Will get back on this SAP.
I did get in touch with AOL and their response was that a full check on the Laptop system information would be required. That will have to hold fire for a while.
    Thanks again .Spanner
