    Saving Header Settings in Explorer

I get SOO tired of having to check, and uncheck the column headings in Explorer so I can see the headings I WANT to see. There's GOT to be a way I can save those column headings.

    Thanks,
    GPL

Do you have a mixed of file types and Windows is trying to help you see how long the video is and the name of the music album etc??? If so you'll have to try and beat the system by putting the different file types in their own folder.

I've posted this issue before, but never got a satisfactory response. Not necessarily blaming Steve, but there HAS to be a better solution. Here's the issue:

These files are all audio files, that should be "separation" enough.

You can customize the different types of folder (General Items, Documents, Pictures, Music and Video) by right-clicking the folder name > Properties > Customize Tab and select the template you want.

You may want to tick ‘Also apply this template to all subfolders’.

Thanks for you help. BTW, I did a search on my original post, and it was expired. That's why I reposted it.

You never bothered to respond, now after 4 months you come back....

You need to do better in following up. A forum is two way communication.
