    Hi everyone,
I'm posting this thread for a friend of mine who is currently having issues with his PC. It BSOD'd while he was playing Borderlands 2 and he has been unable to get it booted up again as it keeps repeating the blue screen.

He managed to get safe mode working so I'll link him to this thread and tell him to make account so he'll answer any further questions, but here are his specs and a photo he took of the blue screen:

    WD Black WD1002FAEX 1TB
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
    AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High Performance Power Supply
    ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ Motherboard
    Nvidia 560ti GPU
Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (probably not important but throwing it here anyways)

Here's the photo he sent me:

It mentions something the display driver and nvlddmkm.sys. I suspect it could be something with his graphics card, but I'm not sure.

This is all I've got to go off for now, I gave him some basic advice to replug his hardware and check the temps but so far no results. Hopefully someone here will have better ideas and if you need any other information, let us know and we'll do our best to figure it out.

    Thanks in advance,
    -Litos

Yeah, we're trying to get his drivers reinstalled right now.
Edit: Ok so we thought we fixed at first, as we got the PC booted again after uninstalling the drivers from safe mode. He reinstalled them and after a few minutes it crashed again. I think this might be the hardware itself, so I suggested he do a RMA request with Newegg to see if he can return it.

Well, instead of an RMA, did you download and install the latest drivers?

Yes, several times. We tried uninstalling everything and updating through device manager, manually from Nvidia's website, etc. He's packed the card up and will be sending it back to Newegg (it's a pretty new GPU, he recently bought the new setup). So I guess I'll mark this resolved, sort of. Thanks.

OK, I just wanted to make sure. Sometimes people forget & only try the CD they got with the card, not realizing that driver will most likely be outdated.
