Explorer used to show the filename under the thumbnail but it has disappeared - can anyone help me to retrieve it?

I have looked under View/Choose details - no good
    also
    Tools/Folder Options - no good

    I must be missing something!

The Shift key toggles files names on and off in Thumbnails view. When you
open Windows Explorer, go to View and ensure that it's set to something
other than Thumbnails, then go to View again and hold down the Shift key as
    you select Thumbnails.

Go to one of those folders with Thumbnails and go to View and select a different view then hold down the SHIFT key and select Thumbnails View, the Filenames for the items will now be displayed.

    ------If not above see below------------------
