    Hi,
I remotely monitor and maintain several PCs at a computer club. Each PC has three user accounts which are used for different groups meeting there. They all run Win7.

I am trying to find a simple way for users to report problems on the machines.
It would be ideal if a user could simply report a problem by typing into a text box (say) on the desktop, and then submitting so that the report would show the machine name and user account. I would need to access the reports remotely.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

Looks like you're assuming that the pc actually boots up;)

Place a Support form the ALL User Desktop. They could in theory right click and send to Mail Recipient.

"Place a Support form the ALL User Desktop. "

Not sure exactly what you mean. Are you suggesting something like a Word document?
What is the ALL user desktop?
The problem I have is that many of the users are not very IT literate, so it needs to be very simple.

Then have them use the telephone or email to notify you when there is an issue;)

On each computer, create a Notepad text document. Name it Problem Reports. Save a copy in these folders:

    C:/Users/<user1>/Desktop
    C:/Users/<user2>/Desktop
    C:/Users/<user3>/Desktop

At the top of each text file write this:

    ### Use this document to record problems encountered on this computer. ###
    ### Begin each report with the date using this format: YYYY-MM-DD ###
    ### Separate each report with 4 blank lines. ###
    ### After writing your report, use the top menu and click File > Save. ###
    ### Then close this window. ###
