    Hi,

I wanted to make the text size larger on my laptop in order to print some information for someone in a larger print. I accidentally changed it to 200% and of course, that is way too big. Now when I click on "click to open Personalization" and then in the left frame, click on 'Adjust font size (DPI), the DPI Scaling box comes up and I want to change the scale, but I have to click on OK to make it work, and because everything is so large the OK button is off the screen and I can't move the box in order to click on it.

I can't see any way to move the box up or down on the screen so that I can click on that OK button.

I also tried to go into System Restore, but the same problem occurs. After I have successfully created a restore point, I need to click on OK to make it work. There is no up/down arrow on the side of the boxes so that I can move the information up or down.

There has to be a way to fix this. Please help!

Was this an e-mail or a word program? If not what was it that you were in when you made it larger?

Hi nottoosavy. Try right clicking on the Desktop< select Screen Resolution and change the resolution to a smaller amount so you can see more space on your screen.

When you get to the "Adjust DPI" dialog box, click the radio button for the default setting. Click on nothing else, just press the Enter key, which should be the same as clicking the OK button which is active by default.

If that doesn't work, with the scaling box open, right click its icon on the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

One of the options in the menu that opens should be "Move. "

If it's there, left click it. The cursor will seem to disappear. What it does is snap the cursor to the top border of the window, even if that border is out of view.

Then just hold down the left mouse button and move the unseen cursor upward. Hopefully that will move the box far enough up to let you access the OK button.

I went into the Windows Help and Support box and searched how to change text size. From the 'contents' i clicked on "Make the text on your screen larger or smaller ".

I then clicked on "Click to open Personalization" and then in Tasks, I clicked on 'Adjust font size (DPI)' Then I had to give permission to continue to the DPI Scaling Control Panel. This is where I now run into trouble. The first time I changed the text size I was able to click on OK. Now everything on the screen is so large and I cannot move the DPI Scaling box up so that I can click on OK at the bottom of the box, therefore I cannot change it back.

This seems to be the only route to go to change the text size in Windows Vista. I hope you can understand the way I have explained it.

    Thank you
