Resolved TSAssit.exe fails to execute

    when I first start Windows 7 and the desktop screen appears, there is a popup warning that states that this file didn't execute. I don't know what it is or what it does. Can anyone shed some light on what may be missing?

    Please check the spelling - TSAssit.exe as you posted or TSAssist.exe

    If the latter it appears to be part of the Avant Internet Browser - is that installed on your computer?

    Thanks for the reply, Pete. It is TSAssist.exe and I have been able to identify it as part of Comodo's free downloaded scan-and-clean software. I may attempt to delete and re-install it.

    Found the problem

    I thought that I had installed Comodo System Utilities 4.0 free download on both O/S's and had not on the Windows 7 drive. When I was booting Win7, for some reason the TSAssist.exe "Abnormal Program Termination" warning appeared, probably because it runs off of the boot partition(that's only guess). I installed it on the Windows 7 as well as XP and now it is fine. Thanks PeteC
