I repeat many words in Text documents (LibreOffice). Is there a setting where a word is saved, enabling when typing the first few letters of the word will automatically print the word in full.
    Windows 7 64bits.
A solution will be most appreciated.

    Enable word completion
Stores frequently used words, and automatically completes a word after you type three letters that match the first three letters of a stored word.
    To access this command...
Choose Tools - AutoCorrect Options - Word Completion tab

this information was ascertained by reading the help file in libre office.
    (hint: press F1)

eisneun, thank you for prompt reply to my thread. Further assistance would again be appreciated. I have not found the information in LibreOffice, AutoCorrect Options- Word completion.

    BobbyScot,

The feature is definately there (in 3.6.4.3 anyway), have a look at the top of the window for the Word Completion Tab select that and tick "Enable Word Completion" & "Collect Words ".

If you don't have these options then I'm guessing your installation is either non standard or corrupt, I'd advise a reinstallation. I should point out that these options were selected by default on my copy.

    Wildfire,
Thank you also for assistance given. As suggested, uninstalled and re-nstalled LibreOffice 3.6.4. My requirement is working to an extent, though the words require to be typed almost complete before the word is completed automatically.
I think perhaps that I have missed a step,

Tools> Auto correct options> Replace> type in required single words at a time> in the Completion> minimum word length [6]. Lowest minimum word accepted is [5].

Using word visibility, entered in tools> autoCorrect Options> replace> typed visibility - visibility []. However on typing this, prints visibil6ty as to correct visibility []. Checking word completion, shows word visibil6ty is present. Using Delete Entry, deletes visibil6ty, but each time LibreOffice is used word
visibil6ty is shownagain in Word Completion. What correct procedure is required to delete visibil6ty permanently.
