Folder Tasks overlying desktop xp pro sp3

    After a cleanup of desktop pc and reboot the "Tasks Folder" landed over the left one third of desktop. Pc will start up to desktop but nothing works from there even "msconfig" gives message "cannot find msconfig ". Have tried f8 and reset back to when pc was ok, didn't work.

    Any help greatly appriciated.

    Would you like to share how you cleaned up the PC? - whatever you did has removed key files.

    Given that nothing works in Normal Mode can you boot to Safe Mode and make a System Restore?
