Spacebar not spacing....

    [Dell desktop; MS Windows 7 Home; Windows Live Mail Essential 2011; Mozilla Firefox]

    Hello, could someone let me know how to fix my spacebar that suddenly does not space each time I press it, but I need to hit it up to 6 times for it to workbetween each word!!!

    Hereisasample ofwhatthis devildoes..... :(

    It does this everywhere - in Word, in Notepad, even here!

    Hi Adela. It sounds like the spacebar key is failing for some reason. Have you tried a different keyboard to see if you still experience the same issue?

    Does the pc get rebooted or shutdown daily?

    EDIT: If its a USB keyboard - try unplugging it - then plug it back in.

    Thank you so much Evan. This is the only keyboard I have. I gave away my old one with the computer. lol! This is one is a Dell only 2 years old, but I'll buy a cheap one now. Adela

    Hi and thanks very much. I did unplug it then plugged again. I also tried at first rebooting (shutting off the computer?) and yes I shut it off every night...and no result! :(
