Outlook Express 6 sending emails

Outlook express has sent emails to recipients that I did not mail to or are not in my sent folder. How to solve this?

 

Can you tell us what kind of anti virus you are using? This could be virus problem

 

Or, someone else could be using your email address in the From: field.

My brother answered yes to the return receipt question when he received the email & it came back to my in box. When I got his response I knew I did not send him the email nor was it in my sent file. Scary!

 

It's not scary at all, it's relatively simple to spoof a senders address.

 

You can scan your computer for virus. If you are very sure nobody send the email from your computer.
