Resolved What Version of Nero do I need for Windows 7

I have Nero Burning ROM, v5, with a "Mega Plug-in Pac." (Reads as Version 6.3.1.11) My OS was Win XP.
I'm finished with my new build, with Windows 7. I LOVE Nero. With the plug-ins, I can burn FLACC Files. I'm almost never had any problems with any type file, with what I have.
It's almost unbelievable what you can do with this software. I have audacity like options. I can "raise the treble a little," make the whole CD louder, many other fetchers. I like the simple way it just works.

What version do I need to make it run in windows 7? I would like just what I have now, but be compatible with win 7. I need it to burn FLACC's also.

I know that the post is old, but that is the earliest version that I found GOOGLING Nero with Win 7. Couple of sites said to run in compatibality mode and some of the older versions work for some, but not for others. Depends on if you have the 32 or the 64 version.

 

I didn't want to run in compatibility mode, one that will work with Windows 7 64bit. Install and it should work. Plus, I need one that will work with Flacc. I think Nero doesn't work, so I need the one that works in Win 7, plus that has a add-on or will work with FLACC.

I found "CDBurnerXP" that works very good so far. Has good raitings also. It does all the files I use and my new burner is lightscribe, works with that also. I will give it a try when I get some discs.
