[Control home PC with laptop while traveling?]

    I would like to use my laptop to control my PC at home when I am out of town.Both computers have WIN XP Pro. The home computer requires a PW.
    Could you please point me to directions on how to do this.

    What are you going to try to control with this setup? You would have to turn on Sharing to do this.

    no, sharing is not needed.

    What's needed is remote desktop or similar software such as Teamviewer or VNC.
