I am having a problem with the Standard Buttons menu in windows explorer, the file option in particular is a problem. I'm not sure how long this has been going on as I just noticed it today.

I think the other buttons, edit, view, favorites, etc work fine but when I click on a file and press file the arrow button loads for a sec and then it shows me the menu as if I had just right clicked the file.

I probably didn't notice because it's not a huge deal but I had to install some fonts today and I am unable to do so because the right menu does not come up when I am in the fonts folder. So any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Also I tried system restore, Hkey no file menu deletion, and tweak UI.

Thanks for the advice, I did try that but it didn't fix the problem.

Sorry, no further ideas. As for the fonts, you can just copy the font to the \Fonts folder.
