My system is a w7 home premium. It includes (as a new feature respect to XP)
more information on the EXPLORE function i.e the reporting of groupings of different type of files according to the subject (in Italian they are called "raccolte" I'm sorry I don't know the English equivalent). This feature. instead of being of help causes to me some confusion. Is there a way to cancel the presentation of this new feature? Thank You, Paolo.

Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and press the Alt-and-V key combination to open the View menu.

In the View menu, go to "Sort by" and in the menu that opens, click on "More. "

In the window that opens there is an alphabetized list of all the ways the files can be sorted.

After setting it up the way you want files to be displayed, click OK to save the changes.
